This Year: As always, there will be antiques, arts and crafts, furniture, books, and food for sale on the front porches. In between the houses there will be vendors from local companies, non-profit organizations, performances by local musicians, and meals served by local organizations and vendors.
Glencoe Mill Village offers a unique glimpse of an 1880s cotton mill and village. In June 1997, Preservation North Carolina purchased the 105 acre site along the Haw River including the mill complex, 32 houses, the mill store, office, lodge, and other associated buildings, and has been selling the houses and land lots to enterprising home renovation pioneers. The site is of great historical and environmental significance. For more information visit PNC's website at www.presnc.org/GlencoeMill/story.htm
